1. Our 30-day refund
If you bought 2anything directly from this website and you are not happy with it, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.
You do not need to give a reason. You do not need to prove a fault. "It is not what I expected" is enough.
This is a voluntary commercial policy that is deliberately more generous than the statutory minimum in section 2. It is offered in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
2. Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in Spain or the EU, you also have a legal right of withdrawal (derecho de desistimiento) of 14 days from the day the contract is concluded, under Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (the Spanish consumer protection act) implementing the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
For digital content delivered immediately, the law allows a trader to ask you to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you thereby lose this withdrawal right. We do not rely on that exception. We would rather you were able to try the app and get your money back than sign away a right at checkout.
In practice this means our 30-day policy in section 1 covers everything the statutory 14-day right would, for longer. You may invoke either. Where they differ, whichever is more favourable to you applies.
You do not need a specific form to withdraw. A clear statement by email is enough. If you prefer to use the model withdrawal form from the consumer legislation, that is fine too.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@2anything.app (or me@bogs.io) from the address you used to buy, and include your licence key or the Gumroad receipt. That is the whole process.
If something is simply not working, we are happy to try to fix it first — but that is an offer, not a condition. If you want the refund instead, say so and you will get it.
4. How the money comes back
Purchases are processed by Gumroad as our merchant of record, so the refund is issued by Gumroad back to your original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
We will process your request without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days of accepting it, as the law requires. How quickly the money then appears depends on your bank or card issuer, and is usually a few business days after that. Any tax charged at checkout is refunded with the purchase price. You are not charged a fee for refunding.
5. What happens to your licence
When a purchase is refunded, the licence ends and the licence key is deactivated. Please uninstall the app.
Files you already converted are yours and are unaffected. They are on your own computer, we never had them, and a refund does not touch them.
6. If the app is faulty or not as described
This is separate from, and not limited by, the 30-day window above.
Consumers in Spain and the EU have a statutory legal guarantee that digital content conforms to its description and works properly, under Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 as amended by Royal Decree-Law 7/2021. If the app is faulty or does not match what we described, you can require us to bring it into conformity, and if we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract and be refunded. These remedies are free of charge and are available well beyond 30 days.
So if you find a genuine defect in month six, that is a conformity claim, not a missed refund deadline. Email us.
7. Business purchases
Our voluntary 30-day refund in section 1 applies to business buyers too. However, the statutory consumer rights in sections 2 and 6 apply only to consumers — people buying outside their trade or profession — and not to purchases made for business purposes.
8. Purchases made on other platforms
If you ever buy 2anything through a different storefront, that platform's own refund terms and process apply, and you should request the refund there. At present the app is sold only through this website via Gumroad.
9. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please email us before disputing the charge with your bank. A chargeback is slower for you than a refund from us, and it costs us fees on a sale we were willing to refund anyway. We have never refused a refund request that arrived within the window.
We may deactivate a licence key that is the subject of a chargeback.
10. Repeated refunds
We reserve the right to decline a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse — for example someone repeatedly buying and refunding the same product to use it without paying. This does not limit your statutory rights under sections 2 and 6.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how a refund was handled, see the complaints and dispute resolution section of our terms of service, which explains the Spanish consumer channels available to you.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, and the current version is always published here with its version number and effective date. The policy that applies to your purchase is the one in force on the date you bought.
