2anything

Use case

The Designer

For designers, developers, and makers who ship pixels. Turn a PNG into a clean SVG, a favicon, or a lighter WebP or AVIF — and keep client work off random upload sites.

The problem

Five tabs to make one favicon.

A logo arrives as a PNG and you need an SVG. The site needs an ICO, the CMS wants WebP, and the photo from your phone won't open anywhere. Each step is another web tool that wants your unreleased work.

2anything does image conversion, vectorizing, and icons on your Mac.

Supported formats

What it reads and writes.

Raster images

  • PNG
  • JPG
  • WebP
  • AVIF
  • TIFF
  • GIF
  • BMP
  • HEIC / HEIF input only

Vectors & icons

  • SVG
  • Vectorize raster images to SVG
  • ICO

Fonts

  • TTF
  • OTF
  • WOFF
  • WOFF2

Extras

  • QR codes from text, URLs, vCards, JSON or CSV — as PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG
  • Images → PDF
  • PDF pages → images
  • Text from images, via OCR
  • Video contact sheets

Formats marked input only can be opened and converted, but not written. SVG files convert to the raster formats; raster images become SVG by vectorizing. TrueType fonts can't become OTF, which needs CFF outlines.
