Office documents
- Word
.docx(DOCX) - OpenDocument
.odt(ODT) - Rich Text
.rtf(RTF) - PowerPoint
.pptx(PPTX) - Legacy Word
.docinput only
The problem
The client sends a PDF and you need to edit it. Legal wants Word, the wiki
wants Markdown, the printer wants PDF, and the old archive is full of
.doc files. Every hop is another upload to another website — with
contracts, HR letters, and drafts you would rather keep to yourself.
2anything converts documents on your Mac, PDFs included. Scanned pages are run through OCR automatically, so even a photocopy comes back as text you can edit.
Supported formats
.docx (DOCX).odt (ODT).rtf (RTF).pptx (PPTX).doc input only.md.txt.rst.tex
Every format here converts to every other, with three exceptions: PDFs convert
to every format except PPTX, legacy .doc files convert to PDF only,
and PowerPoint input brings over slide titles and text.
Example workflows
PDF → DOCX
Markdown → EPUB
manuscript.md.PPTX → Markdown
